String players aged 19-28 pursuing a career in music
August 13 - 17 // $550 9 AM - 4 PM Automatic Scholarship Consideration deadline: February 28 Applications accepted and processed, subject to availability deadline: April 10* String players aged 19-29 pursuing a career in music may apply for our 5-day Young Professionals program. Accepted applicants will be placed in ensembles including one faculty member for daily rehearsals with them leading up to performances on Sunday August 17th.
Also included in this program: -Private lessons -Technique Classes -Master Classes -Piano accompaniment sessions -Enrichment classes including music as a career, extended techniques, violin making, etc. -Free admission to Rosamunde Festival Faculty concerts August 19 and 21 if you are able to attend. If you require financial aid in order to attend, please include the required components with your application (see Tuition.) Applications submitted by February 28 will automatically be considered for scholarships with no financial aid components required. Advanced (ages 10-19)

ROSAMUNDIADE |
Intro (ages 5-12)
August 18 - 22 // $550 / 275* Full = 9 AM - 4 PM // *Half = 9 AM - noon Application deadline: May 2 Geared towards students level 2-5 RCM or Suzuki books 2-4, our Mini Rosie program is designed to get young children excited about playing, teach them good technical habits, build confidence and help them develop a peer group of like-minded students for friendship and learning.
Morning: -technique classes -solo performance classes -orchestral learning class Afternoon: -private lessons -chamber music coachings -music history and theory games The morning only program is best suited for students ~9 years and younger, playing from Suzuki book 2 or RCM Grade 3 and lower. The full-day program (9-4) is for students typically playing at a slightly higher level (Suzuki books 3-4 / RCM Grades 4-5) and mature enough to handle a full day of instruction (generally aged 9 and up). We will accommodate all levels of students in this program and older students are welcome. A final concert will be held on August 23. All students gain free admission to Rosamunde Festival Faculty concerts August 19 and 21. *See rates page for refund policies. |
Adult amateur ensemble
5:45 - 6:45 PM and 7 - 8 PM August 13 - 18 // $350 Final performance on Monday, August 18 Application deadline: April 10* One of our unique programs is an evening chamber music program for adult amateur string players, directed by Jennifer Thiessen. Pre-formed ensembles are welcome, and groupings are arranged and repertoire provided for individual applicants who are not part of an existing ensemble. Groups will meet with their coaches August 13 to 18 from 5:45 - 8 PM (with a short break during that time) and participate in a performance on Monday August 18.
There will be one special class held on Saturday August 16th specifically for Rosamundiades, geared towards a common Rosamundiade interest. Rosamundiade players may also audit Rosamunde Core program master classes during the day and attend all Festival concerts at no extra cost as a part of their program.
