Meredith’s love for dance began at the age of 4 when she took her first class at the Shelley Shearer School of Dance. Since then, Meredith has been trained in the invitational and pre-professional company in ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, modern, jazz, tap and musical theatre. Meredith participates annually in dance competitions throughout Canada and the United States. In 2023, she was awarded top teen dancer in the local Candance competition brining her to Ottawa last summer to compete nationally. Meredith has also enjoyed the experience of being cast as a dancer on the Hallmark movie “The Christmas Club” in 2019. Meredith loves to express herself through the movements of dance and is excited to share that passion with you tonight as she performs her contemporary solo choreographed for her by renowned choreographer Stephanie Rutherford.
