Elise Lavallée

Violist Elise Lavallée was appointed Assistant Principal Viola of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra in 1997 and appears regularly with various organizations in the city including Groundswell, Music at the Millenium, Camerata Nova and Winnipeg Chamber Music Society. Elise received her Bachelor of Music from Le Conservatoire de Musique de Québec and later pursued a Master’s Degree at the Manhattan School of Music and an Artist Diploma at McGill University. In addition to maintaining a private teaching studio, Elise is an instructor at the University of Manitoba. She has also been a host for music appreciation lectures at the University of St-Boniface and a chamber music series music director at the St. Boniface Cathedral and the Franco-Manitoban Cultural Centre.

Elise Lavallée
