Acclaimed Canadian pianist Jon Kimura Parker describes Madeline Hildebrand as “an extraordinary young artist whose communicative skills convey the essence of all that she plays. Her pianism is of the highest level, and she has an instinctive understanding of beautiful sound.” Madelines love for piano music has directed her path from the age of six, culminating in a Master of Piano Performance from the University of British Columbia under the tutelage of distinguished Canadian artist, Jane Coop. Her playing has taken her coast coast in Canada and America, Italy, and Romania.
Her recent engagements have included a concerto performance with the Thunder Bay Orchestra, a house concert tour throughout the prairies with flutist Haley Marie, a cross Canada tour with soprano Sarah Kirsch, and chamber music concerts with Winnipeg’s foremost classical musicians. Upcoming 2016 engagements include concerts with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and Winnipeg’s Virtuosi concert series. Madeline is on faculty at the Canadian Mennonite University in Winnipeg.
